A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Jamestown United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Watford officiating.
Jennifer was born June 30, 1970 in Greensboro and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She graduated from Randleman High School, enjoyed traveling, and playing softball. Spending time with her granddaughter was her favorite pastime. Jennifer was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 23 years, Scott Sherwood; son, Nicholas Sherwood; daughter, Nicole Sherwood; parents, Robert and Sarah Haynes; twin sister, Jami Rood and husband Richard; brother, Eddie Haynes and wife Andrea; nieces, Ashley and Sarah Rood and Kimberly Sherwood; nephews, Thomas and Andrew Sherwood; and granddaughter, Macey Sherwood.
The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
