Hilda was born on July 25, 1926 in Guilford County, the daughter of Charles L. and Swannie Paul Cockman. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by all.
Hilda is survived by her loving husband, William “Hank” Reid; daughter, Susan Reid Apple and husband Ricky of Greensboro, NC; sons, Dannie W. Pierce and wife Marquita of Greensboro, NC, David L. Reid and wife Patti of Brown Summit, NC; grandchildren; Lisa Marie Pierce, Lucas Matherly Pierce, Traci Reid Bast, Matthew David Reid; great grandchildren, Presley Grace Pierce and Miley Belle Pierce. Sister Betty Cockman Harrington of Greensboro.
Funeral services to celebrate Hilda’s life will be held on Saturday, September 1st, 11:00 a.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. Entombment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service on Saturday at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel
