Helen Marie Palmer

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Westminster Gardens Cemetery in Greensboro.

Helen was the daughter of the late Harry Edwin Hall and Lizzie Ester Albright and was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry M. Palmer; and brothers, Jimmy Hall, Johnny Hall, and Billy Hall.

Helen’s greatest joy in life were her children and family members. She is survived by her sons, Roger Palmer and wife Kim and daughter Kaitlyn; Chris Palmer and girlfriend Donna Hall; sister, Linnie Frye and husband Charles; nephews, Jesse Burrow and wife Pam and son Kevin; Kermit Williamson and wife Kay.

Beyond her family Helen’s life energy was focused on Cosmetology. Her favorite job was working at Well-Spring Retirement Community in the Beauty and Barber Shop helping the residence look and feel better. It was her way of giving by doing little things that can make a tremendous impact on an older adult’s life.

Helen was also a remarkable cook who always made holiday meals for the entire family at her home. During her spare time, she loved to travel and square dance with the Carolinians and was a 47-year member of the, Guildford Chapter No. 141, Order of the Eastern Star.

Helen will be forever loved and missed.
