years. Grace was an avid card player - especially bridge and poker - and was an accomplished bowler. Her love for Coca-Cola is evidenced by the extensive collection of Coke memorabilia throughout her home. Most of Grace’s career was spent as a bank teller who always made her customers’ day special.
Survivors include her husband, Jack; three children, Kathleen Church, Debby Davis and husband, Scott, and John Michael Haynes and wife, Melissa; step-son, Todd Murphy and wife, Angie; nine grandchildren, Luke Church and wife, Kristen, Hunter Church and wife, Rachel, Morgan Haynes and husband, Brent, Cassidy Church, Zachary Church, Natalie Haynes, Chris Murphy, Nathan Murphy, and Megan Murphy; seven great grandchildren, Sydney Nicole, Liam, Charley, Kenzie, Sawyer, Millie, and Colin. Grace was predeceased by husband Mark Miller. They are survived by nephews, Saul Sellinger and wife, Denise, Arthur Sellinger; niece, Frances Conyers; great-nephews, Zachary Sellinger and Samuel Sellinger; and great-nieces, Alanna Sellinger, Shaenna Pickett and husband, Ryan, and Hannah Azim and husband, Basil.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 3, 2023, at Guilford College United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Grace’s Life will take place at 11:00 am in the sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to More than Sparrows (www.morethansparrows.net).
