Elizabeth Ann Cox

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Rupp Cox, 78, a resident of Greensboro died January 27, 2015. Elizabeth was born January 15, 1937 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth Hills Rupp. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Randleman.

On December 7, 1962 she was married to Joseph “Joe” David Cox who survives of the home. Surviving in addition to her husband Joe are four sons, David Cox and wife Toni of Raleigh, Michael Cox and fiance’ Jewel of Raleigh, Ross Cox and wife Young Ja of Greensboro, Donald Cox and wife Kristen of Raleigh; three sisters, Anita Sutton and husband Tom of OH, Esther Chavers and husband Floyd of TX, Martha Burke of NE; one brother, Daniel Rupp and wife Linda of NM; five grandchildren, Amber Waddell, Tiffany Cox, Andrew Cox, Ben Cox, Ruth Cox and two great grandchildren, Matthew Waddell and Linkan Kritz.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Gary Gaydon. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
