She was born in Greensboro, NC on August 14, 1951. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Kendall W. Griffin Sr. and Betty Blackford Griffin and her beloved son, Richard (Rick) Lee Ketcham Jr.
Surviving are her sister, Emily Griffin Morgan ( Steven); her brothers, Kendall W. Griffin Jr. (Kuson) and Jeffrey T. Griffin (Ladda). She is also survived by her closest friends Karen Kolbe, Linda Keaton and Beth Mansfield.
Debbie was active in her church for many years. She worked with the children and young adults. She taught Sunday School, organized Vacation Bible School, and graced the congregation with her voice on numerous occasions. Debbie was talented in crafts and music with violin and voice.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Brookdale, Moses Cone Hospital and the staff of Beacon Place for the excellent care rendered to Debbie.
Hanes-Lineberry is serving the family. A visitation and gathering to honor Debbie will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021 between the hours of 6pm – 8pm at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Street
