Connie Lois Kim

Connie Lois Kim died peacefully at home on February 1, 2016 in Greensboro, NC at the age of 75 surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was born November 29, 1940 in Garrard County, KY, the daughter of the late Jessie Claude and Mildred Patterson Doolin.

Connie is survived by her husband, Chong Kim; two daughters, Carla McGlynn and husband Thomas of Clyde, and Terri Kim Franklin and husband Brad of Brown Summit; her son, John Kevin Kim and wife Samantha of McLeansville; grandsons, Ryan McGlynn, Greg Kim, Josh Kim, Alex Wohletz, Jesse Kim; granddaughters, Sara McGlynn, Calli Kim, Marissa Wohletz; six great grandchildren and two brothers, Claude Wayne Doolin and wife Hollis, James “Jimmy” Steven Doolin and wife Sue of Lancaster, KY.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until service time.

Funeral Services to be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the Hanes- Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro NC 27407 conducted by Pastor Tony May. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.

Connie loved flowers; red roses in particular…In lieu of sending flowers; plant a red rose bush in her memory.
