Christina Cabe Kimbro

Christina “Christy” Cabe Kimbro passed away at home in the loving care of her immediate family on April 13, 2022 in Greensboro, North Carolina after a courageous fight with breast cancer. Christy was born on August 18, 1979 to Frances and Gerald Cabe in Greensboro, North Carolina and grew up in the Summerfield area, before moving to the Southeast Guilford area during her adult life. Christy had a wonderfully sweet soul and was an incredibly loving person in general. She was a very easy person to like and always had compassion for her children, family and friends. She very much loved scrap-booking, exercising and generally liked hanging out with her dear friends in the Southeast Guilford community. Christy met so many wonderful people throughout her journey of life. Christy graduated with an associate’s degree and continued on to work in the field of paralegal for most of her career. She worked for traffic attorney Darl Fowler, the State of North Carolina Clerk of Superior Court and finally for the United States Probation office. She met Evan Kimbro in 2002 whom she married in June 2007. They had 2 children together Brenleigh and Alexia Kimbro. Christy is survived by her husband and two daughters. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life during a memorial service at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home, 515 North Elm Street, Greensboro, NC 2740, Sunday, April 24th at 3 p.m. with visitation and greetings immediately afterwards.
