Carol Ann Roberts

Carol Ann Roberts, 80. A resident of Greensboro passed away on Wednesday May 10, 2023. Born on October 28, 1942, in Martinsville, VA, she was the daughter of Sanford Madison Roberts Sr. and Mary Ethel Thomas Roberts.

Carol was a graduate of Drewry Mason High School and worked with the Kroger/Harris Teeter Grocery Stores.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 5 brothers: Mary Frances Roberts Chalkley, Henrietta Roberts Keever, Sanford Madison Roberts Jr, Edgar Price Roberts, Jesse Evans Roberts, Lowell Thomas Roberts, and James Ronald Roberts. .

Carol is survived by her 2 sons: Kyle White and wife Anne of Kernersville, Brett White and wife Ashley of Browns Summit; 3 sisters: Cornelia R. Steele of Hickory, Kay R. Scougal of Newport News, VA, Johnsie R. Oddenino of Apex; 5 grandchildren: Sarah W. Kiser and husband Jordan of High Point, Jacob A. White and wife Claudia of High Point, William H. White of Browns Summit, Taylor A. White of Charlotte, Hunter White of Raleigh and 5 great grandchildren: Ryatt Kiser, Anthony Kiser, Ford Kiser, Crew Kiser and Luke White. Carol was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Monday May 15, 2023 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Carol’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
