Beatrice Foust (“Bea”) Flynn, 90 years young, went home to be with her Lord May 17, 2018, at Pennybyrn at Maryfield. Bea will be remembered for her strong faith in her Savior. Sharing time with her devoted family and cherished friends was her greatest joy. A funeral remembrance will be held Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Hanes Lineberry, Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 High Point Road, at 3:00 p.m. Scott Daniel will be officiating. Visitation will be welcomed an hour prior to the service.
Bea was the daughter of the late Mildred Carter Foust and Dan Foust. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Edward B. Flynn, whom she now joins in heaven to continue their eternal love. Bea’s deceased siblings include Aileen F. Williams, Frances F. Holt, Willie Mae Caudle, Dan Foust, and Edward Foust. Also deceased was her loving granddaughter, Leslie Parsons.
Surviving are her son Gilbert Flynn and his wife Terri, and her daughter Faye Yaskiewicz and her husband Rick; cherished granddaughters Lorri Yaskiewicz and her fiancé David McLean, and Tina McCllendland and her daughters Taylor and Hallie; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to the Benson House at Pennybyrn for their compassionate care (especially Linzi, Donnette and Shlaunda). Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, especially Traci and Victoria, were Godsends.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Artie Loggains, Barney Yaskiewicz, Keith Hurley, David Heath, David McLean and Johnny Love. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Garry Milloway.
