Anna K. Dietz

Anna K. Dietz, 96, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Wesley Long Hospital. Anna was born in New York City on January 17, 1920, the daughter of Anton and Fannie Kerch. She was married to Harold L. Dietz in 1946 and moved to Floral Park, NY where they raised three wonderful children. In 1996, they relocated to Greensboro where they spent the remainder of their lives.

Anna enjoyed traveling, playing cards, painting, playing piano and socializing. She made many loyal friends throughout her life wherever she worked and lived. This strong, caring, and loving woman will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, son John and brother, Anton. She is survived by her daughter Judith and husband Walter and son Jeffrey and wife Lorie; grandchildren, Bryan, Erik and wife Elise, Stephanie and husband Joey, Sharon and husband Stephen, Thomas and Michael; great grandchildren, Madeline and Isabella.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel with burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
