Ann Thompson Hedrick

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, December 26, 2013, at Lawndale Baptist Church, where she was an active member for many years.

Ann was born in Spartanburg, SC to the late Charles and Elizabeth Thompson. For the majority of her life, she grew up in Greenville, SC. For the last 48 years Ann made Greensboro her home. She was a Kindergarten Teacher at Laughlin Primary School in Summerfield for over 20 years before retiring in 2001. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Anita and Ed Solty and Denise and Billy Coffer; and four granddaughters, Alexandria Solty, Sarah Solty, Samantha Coffer, and Amanda Coffer.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 until 12:00 noon prior to the memorial service.
