Angela “Angie” Dawn Broach, 62, a lifelong resident of Greensboro passed away on Saturday May 14, 2022 at Moses H. Cone Health Center. She was born in Greensboro on March 9, 1960, the daughter of the late Robert “Bobby” Myrick and Shirley Ann Henley Covert.
Angie graduated from Ben L. Smith High School. Angie loved to garden and she enjoyed beautiful flowers. She loved to spend time with her grandkids and traveling. She was an educator with Guilford County schools and had recently retired! She loved to volunteer and loved her church-Bridge of Hope.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bobby Covert and Shirley; her step-father, John Crowder; four grandchildren; her brother-in-law and a niece.
She is survived by her soulmate/husband Mike Broach and her children; Michael and (Tracie Broach) and Robbie and (Angie Broach) along with her in-laws Billy and Frances Broach; her Aunt Jinkey Dalton; her siblings Lori Covert (Steve), Melanie Helms(Scott), Robert Covert(Cheryl) and Tara Dunn(Grant); her many nieces and nephews and 10 loving grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service for Angie will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday May 19, 2022 at the Bridge of Hope Church, 4104 Short Farm Rd. Greensboro, NC 27406. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Angie’s memory to the Bridge of Hope Church.
