Willie Pearl Fitzgerald, 69 years old, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at her home in Midway, Tennessee. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters, carried her through many blessed years with her loved ones.
Willie was born February 14, 1946, in Oak Grove, Louisiana to Bill and Cleo Easom. She was the middle child of seven siblings.
Willie married the love of her life, Terry. Together, they traveled the nation during their 51 years of marriage. The adventures they shared together were tribute to their true love story.
Willie was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of the family and excited to become “Mamaw” to her five grandchildren and “Gigi” to her five great grandchildren. Willie loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. She would spend hours cooking and preparing for her family. Family was everything to Willie and the love she gave to her family was unconditional.
Willie was known for her strength and unconditional love. Willie had a wonderful life, full of blessings. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Willie was the beloved wife of Terry Fitzgerald; devoted mother of Pamela Ammons and her husband Scott, Michael Fitzgerald and his wife Camellia of Midway, Tennessee, and Amy Sharp and husband Gene of Rossville, Georgia; loving “Mamaw” to Christopher Fitzgerald and wife Gladys of Crandall, Texas, Ashlea and husband Justin Baskette of Midway, Tennessee, Melissa Malone and husband Curtis of Livingston, Louisiana, Marlowe Cummings and husband Joshua of Rossville, Georgia, and Wyatt Fitzgerald of Midway, Tennessee; loving “GiGi” to Trenton Malone and Layla Malone of Livingston, Louisiana, Shani-Lea Short of Rossville, Georgia, Aubrea Pearl Baskette and Will Baskette of Midway, Tennessee; sister of Lynn Tabor of Little Rock, Arkansas, Johnny Easom of Bastrop, Louisiana, and Jerry and wife Jan Easom of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; sister-in-law to Sherry Montgomery of Mosheim and Linda Snipes and husband JR of Greeneville. She had a special nephew: Greg Gilley of Midway, Tennessee; special friend/son, Stan Stewart of Asheville, North Carolina; special caregivers and friends: Amedysis Hospice, Vickie Crigger, Freda Morgan, Debbie Johnson, Anita Price, Kristen Rosenberg, PJ Thornburg, Sharee Southerland, Cary Stoner, Dr. Bakshi and staff, Dr. Toppenburg and staff, Dr. Philip Thwing, and Jill Fincher.
Willie was a member of Brown Springs Baptist Church and its mother church, Big Springs Baptist Church, both of Mosheim.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Long officiating.
