Wanda Lee Ricker

Wanda L Ricker of the Camp Creek Community passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 in her home while surrounded by her family who loved and cherished her. She was 79 years old, a devoted wife, a dedicated mother and was loved by all who knew her. She worked at Magnavox for 35 years and then worked at Walmart until retirement.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, RJ Ricker; son Jerry Ricker (Jayne); daughter Sandra Bowman (Mike); son Timothy Ricker (Janice); and daughter Angel Cole (Stacy). She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jeffrey Ricker (Olivia), Matthew Bowman (Jessica), Makaela Welch (Lawrence), Holly Ricker, Chris Ricker (Madison), and Carson Cole; four great grandchildren: Kingston Ricker, Jayce and Maylee Bowman and Dusty Ricker; one sister, Catherine Mysinger (Don); and many extended family members.

Wanda was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary Ruth and Fred Cook and one infant son, Jay Lynn Ricker.

Wanda had many caregivers. A special thanks to Pam and Brooke Cornwell, Fresenius Kidney Care, and Amedisys Hospice.

The Family will receive friends on Wednesday November 16, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday November 17, 2022 at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Chris Howell and Rev. Buster Shelton officiating. Interment will follow the service in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
