Ruby Parton Collins

She was a retired long-term employee of Magnavox and attended First Church of God as long as her health permitted.

Ruby is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Robin Johnson; four grandchildren: Cassandra Portillo (Dannery), Danyel Johnson, Robbie Scroggins, and Johnny Hauser (Danielle); great grandchildren: Camilla Holmes, Danny Portillo, Margaret Portillo, Ellie Hauser, Genesis Hauser, and Azaria Hauser; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Earnest Junior and Cora Parton and was preceded in death by two brothers, Carson Parton and Jimmy Parton.

The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2024, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral will then be held at 2:00 pm with entombment to follow at GreeneLawn Chapel Mausoleum. Rev. Dixie Kelley and Bill Scroggins will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jim Parton, Ethan Parton, Tyler Parton, Robbie Scroggins, Johnny Hauser, and Jim Price.

Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
