Robert Issac Brown

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a WWII veteran, honorably discharged from the Navy in July 1946. He retired from Magnavox/Phillips in the mid 80’s. Bob loved farming and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years; Catherine Renner Brown: one son; Robert I. (Mitzi) Brown Jr.: grandchildren; Jason (Kristie) Brown and Leslie (Matt) Sheridan: great grandchildren; Eliza Brown, Gracie Sheridan, Cameron Sheridan and Jack Sheridan: as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; Minnis and Allie Brown: a son; Randy Brown: and a brother; Doyle Brown.

There will be no formal visitation. At his request he will be cremated.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00pm at River Hill Cemetery with Pastor Sarah Varnell officiating. The Greeneville Greene County Honor Guard and the United States Navy will conduct military honors.
