She was a retired RN from James H. Quillen VA Hospital.
Mrs. French was a member of Greeneville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was the secretary of the Lion’s Club of Greeneville, a board member of East Tennessee Lion’s Eyebank, member of Disciples Sunday School Class at Greeneville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Andrew Johnson Club
Survivors include her husband of 16 years: Michael French; daughter and son-in-law: Rebecca and Scott Roberts of Tusculum; a grandson: Trevor Overholt; parents: Frank and Jeanette Scott of Afton; sister and brother-in-law: Shelia and Tom Caldwell; nephews: Scott Caldwell and wife, Angela, and Tyler Banks; niece: Kelsi Banks; great nephews: Colin and Kendell Caldwell; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Norman and Helen French; and her sister-in-law: Rhonda Banks and husband, Jerome, of Afton.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kyle and Mattie Scott and Dennis and Martha Tipton, and her mother-in-law, JoAnn French.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 5-7 pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, March 11, 2016, at Greeneville Cumberland Presbyterian Church with James Lively and Jeff McNabb officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Bowlin, Joel Gosnell, Tony Williams, Bill Gott, Chris Wilhoit, and Scott Caldwell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenville Lion’s Club, PO Box 776, Greeneville, TN 37744 to aid the visually impaired.
