She was retired from Southern Electronics.
Mrs. Voiles was a member of Carter’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years: Paul W. Voiles, Sr.; one son and daughter-in-law: Willie and Janet D. Voiles of the Rheatown community; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law: Jodi D. and Nathan R. Higgins of Greeneville; three great grandchildren: Austin R. Higgins of Greeneville and Caleb and Lauren Brooks, both of Hickory, NC; sister-in-law: Pauline Garber; sisters: Joyce Swatzell and Frankie Uhe; brother and sister-in-law: Harold and Louise Shelton; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers: Vicky Crigger, Teresa Fannon, Mellisa Randolph, and all the staff at Amedisys Hospice.
She was the daughter of the late John and Wonnie Shelton of Afton and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tammy Voiles Brooks; brothers: Ed Shelton, Leonard Shelton, and Fred Shelton; and sisters: Grace Shelton, Mace Morgan, and Jennette Jeffers.
The family will receive friends 2pm-4pm and 5:30pm-7:30pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mark Wills, Rev. David Snyder, and Rev. Richard Long officiating.
The committal service will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Graceland Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Shelton, Timothy Reynolds, Jan Reynolds, Carl Garber, Roy Lee Voiles and Ralph Higgins.
