Nancy Karen (Riddle) Nelson, age 61, of Afton went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Nelson; mother, Marcella Hensley; one brother, Gary Wayne (Melanie) Riddle; a son, Gary Jay (Julie) Mathes; a stepson, Koty Nelson; five grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several cousins; brother-in-law: Bill (Donna) Nelson; mother-in-law: Sandra Nelson and special friend, Janie Haire.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Elgin Riddle and her grandparents: Brisco and Zella Riddle, George and Bessie Ricker.
At her request, Nancy will be cremated.
There will be a Celebration of Life this Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Lord’s Tabernacle Church at 1104 Arnold Road, Greeneville, TN. The Rev. Buster Shelton will officiate.
Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
