Nancy M. Bell

Nancy Bell, age 80, of the Orebank community passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at her home. She was a retired beautician and was a member of Whittenburg Church where she was active in many different functions of the church. She enjoyed being a caregiver for the elderly.

She is survived by a son: Leland Austin; a stepson and his wife: Donnie and Delores Bell; a stepdaughter: Janey Bell; one sister: Naomi, and her husband, David George; two brothers: Samuel and Mary Doud, Joseph and Jill Doud; five grandchildren: Amber and Josh Carter, Sabrina and Hunter Reed, Dylan Leake, Sarah and Bryan Bowers, Susan and Daniel Conner; great grandchildren: Carson Carter, Alex Leake, Delaney Reed, Liam and Coen Conner; one sister-in-law: Ruth Bell Heaton.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bell; her parents: Manilla and George Doud; three brothers: George, Newt and Ken Doud; one sister: Bonnie Morgan; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Herbert and Arlene Bell.

The family will receive friends 12:00 – 2:00 pm Sunday preceding the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Interment will then be conducted at Whittenburg Cemetery. The Rev. John Pursley will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Bowers, Daniel Conner, Dylan Leake, Josh Carter, Perry Crittenden and Keith Ailshie.
