He was self employed as a piano repairman.
Minnis was a believer of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
He is survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law: Lynda and Kenneth Collins, Georgia Yardley; granddaughter: Rachel Bailey Burleson; two great granddaughters: Alexis Spears, Makayla Burleson; great, great granddaughter: Maci Harder; daughter-in-law: Sharon Bailey; special friends and neighbors: Gary and Cindy P. Smith; several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Samuel Buel Bailey and Ola Mae Ricker Bailey and was also preceded in death by his wife: Mildred Bailey; his son: Danny Dean Bailey; brothers and sisters: David Bailey, Donald Bailey, Buddy Bailey, Frieda Crittenden, Helen Marshall, Frankie Yokley, Juanita Banks; and a great grandson, Ethan Burleson.
The family will receive friends 12:00-1:00pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will then be held at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Bradburn Hill Cemetery.
Rev. Eddie Malone will officiate. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
