She was the 5th born of 8 children, a daughter of the late Noah Samuel Davis and Annie Lee (Collins) Davis.
She loved the Lord and dedicated her life to The Church of God. She was musically talented and served many years as church choir director and singing alto in a quartet. She was kindhearted and generous, always making sure to put everyone else first. Her family and friends will remember her for her joyous personality. Always smiling, she had a wonderful sense of humor and lived a blessed life with a positive attitude.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Phyllis K. Gentry-Woods and Kenneth Woods; one son: Jackie L. Seaton; one granddaughter and her spouse: Lori Lee and Eric Keasling; one grandson and his spouse: John T. and Heather Seaton; four great grandchildren: Dakota Seaton, Hunter Seaton, Collin Lee Keasling and Kaylee Keasling; one loving sister: Shirley Reed; two brothers-in-law: Roy B. Seaton of Akron, Ohio and Bobby Seaton of Medina, Ohio; several special nieces and nephews and three step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years, Howard C. Seaton, in 2020; one infant son: Ronnie Carroll Seaton; her son-in-law: Douglas Gentry; one brother: Wilmer J Davis and five sisters: Jeraldine Swatsell, Maltie Wilson, Willie Kate Cornwell, and infants: Helena Davis and Norma Jean Davis.
There will be no formal visitation. A graveside service at Cedar Creek Cemetery will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Stephen Aiken officiating.
In lieu of flowers, it was her wish that donations be made to Beersheba Cemetery Association, c/o Carolyn Finchum, Treasurer, 2374 Old Knoxville Highway, Greeneville, TN 37743.
