Margaret Ida Green Edwards

She was a long-time member of New Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. She was also a graduate of Tusculum College.

Mrs. Edwards was a retired teacher for Greeneville City Schools. She also served as a volunteer for the school system and was a member of the Retired Teacher’s Association.

She also maintained a booth at Greeneville Antique Market since 1982.

She is survived by a son, Chris (Robin) Edwards; grandchildren: Lauren Edwards, Mark (Kaylyn) Edwards of Greenville, SC; several nieces and one great nephews; special relatives: Suzanne, Eric, Lindsey, and Elodie Feltman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wright Edwards; a sister, Mildred Kidd; parents, John and Byrde Green; and nephew, Michael Kidd.

The family will receive friends 12:00 – 2:00 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will then be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Rev. Sarah Varnell will officiate.

Pallbearers are Arnold Hensley, Nathan Humbard, Fox Susong, Jr., Joe Susong; Eric Feltman, and Mark Edwards.
