He was a retired employee of Hurd Lock and a master clock repairman and farmer. He was a member of Community Fellowship Church and a U S Army Veteran.
He is survived by a granddaughter and husband: Brittany and Alex Gregory of Greeneville; a grandson: Kieffer and wife Alana Keller; great grandchildren: Braevyn Myers, Miller Gregory, Karter Gregory, Braxton Penley; two nieces: Teresa Ricker, Sherry Rollins; two nephews: Mark Ricker and Darryl and Debbie Ricker; several great great nieces and nephews and one special friend: Wayne Wright.
He was the son of the late Howard and Beulah Ricker and was preceded in death by his son: Chris Ricker and a brother: Norman Ricker.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 5-7pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the service following at 7:00 pm with Rev. Ray Shelton and Rev. Warner Metcalf officiating.
Interment will be held at 10:00 am on Friday at Beersheba Cemetery. The Greene County Honor Guard and TN National Guard Honors Team will conduct a military graveside service. Family and friends wishing to go in procession to the cemetery are asked to meet at 9:00 am Friday at the funeral home to go in procession.
