Laura was born February 27, 1957 in Tomah, Wisconsin, to Edward Meacham and Marie Lamb.
Laura loved family gatherings, cooking, and grandchildren. She was a hard-working woman who often held multiple jobs to help support her family. Laura would drop everything to be there for family and friends. She loved her dog, Bubbles, as if she was her favorite grandchild.
All said, Laura was a caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed by many until we see you again.
Survivors include her husband: Don Chandley of Greeneville; children: Samantha Carter, Jeff Carter, Charlie Olson, and Issac Parker, all of Greeneville, and Dawn Simms of Belvidere, Illinois; grandchildren: Hayley Olson, Debra Bear, Rachell Parker, Parker Simms, Madison Simms, Cadence Lawson, Jason Lawson, Dakota Houseman, Brent Carter, and Bradley Carter; great grandchild: Briley Carter and expecting a second one; brother: Rusty Meacham of Tomah, Wisconsin; sisters: Amy Meacham-Cruey of Greeneville, Jayne Parker of Iron River, Michigan, and Crystal Boughabt of Eagle River, Wisconsin; and a special niece: Amanda Reed.
She was the daughter of the late Edward and Marie Meacham and was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Harleigh Joe Mae Carter.
The family will receive friends from 5pm-8pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Williams officiating.
