He was a member of Copperhead Motorcycle Club of Morristown.
John is survived by his children, David (Robyn) Ferguson, Kayleigh “Sissy” Shawn King, Robert “Boo Boo” Ferguson, Lisa Harley, Mary Bazley, Tanika Ferguson; grandchildren, Serenity Waddell, Hunter Ferguson, Daci Ferguson, Chloe Elmore, Riley Truman, Cameron Ferguson, Charlie McCravey, Jake Bazely, Ashely Bazely, Joey Bazely, and Brooklynn Ferguson; great grandchildren, Zamora Dejesus, Lejend Ferguson, Ka’Syan Ferguson, and Piper McCravey; and brothers, Bill Ferguson, Arnold “Frog” Ferguson, and Jake Ferguson. He is also survived by his special pet dog, Buddy.
He is preceded in death by his father, Alec Ferguson; his mother, Nancy Holt; and his brother, Marvin “Mouse” Ferguson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
