She was the manager of By-Pass Lawn and Garden.
She was a beloved member of Meadow Creek Presbyterian Church and Cedar Creek FCE.
Survivors include her husband: Jerry Hoyle; a daughter and son-in-law: Elaine and Brian Stewart of Greeneville; granddaughters: Haile, Kaelynn, and Hannah Stewart; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Johnny and Lois Powers of Greeneville, George and Charlene Powers of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister: Marjorie Tilley of Marion, North Carolina; nieces and nephews: Stephen and Brye Powers, Julie and Mike Crum, Paul Boone, Tim and Lisa Boone, Natalie and Ricky Gouge, Bonnie and Grant McCullough, Karen and Jimmy Williams, Stacey Powers, Keri and Luke Pye and Doug Walker; and special friends: Lucille and Rance Pless, Virginia Waddell, and Ruth Kross.
She was the daughter of the late John E. and Esther Powers and was preceded in death by a sister, Marianna LaRue; and one brother, Paul Allen Powers.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Neikirk officiating.
Interment will follow in Meadow Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Powers, Paul Boone, Tim Boone, Ricky Gouge, Jason Cobble, and John Stephen Powers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mitchell Powers, Tanner Gouge, Christopher Cobble, Grant McCullough, Jimmy Williams, Mike Crum and Mark Higgs.
