I dont know Jake but when I see a young persons picture  I feel very sad..for his loved ones and all those who are bereaved..
My sincere condolences.

There was nothing better than seeing Coach Bowles walk into West Greene with a Dallas Cowboys jersey on after losing a bet with Jake. Jake could dish it right back to Coach Bowles when Coach would be aggravating him. 

Jake was a wonderful kid. I loved the interactions I had with him. I loved the passion he had for the teams he supported. You all are in my prayers. You raised a wonderful kid.

Our hearts are broken for you. We pray that the Lord will wrap His loving arms around you and comfort you through this time.  May the Holy Scriptures guide you to a place of healing and peace knowing Jake has a new and restored body and he now rests in the eternal light of God.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Jake.  He will be missed by all that knew him.  I never met Jake but I can tell that he was a loving person by the stories I have heard about him.  I know there is no words to say to take away the pain and sorrow of losing someone so young.

I miss you Jake you were an inspiration to all. I enjoyed just being around you, when at lunch time you would tell me you loved those black olives and he wanted me to get them for him every time they had them. He would ask me don’t you like them and I told him no and he would laugh at me.  And his teachers at West Greene and other staff at West Greene would talk to him and made him laugh and that just made his day.  I know the staff and his friends there will miss him to plus Vo Tech School. Gone but never will be forgotten! Love You Jake

One of the most fun days of my teaching career was participating in this walk with Jake; I am so sorry for your loss and am praying for peace and comfort for the days ahead!

I was so blessed to have taught Jake at West Greene High School. Jake was such a joy.  The way he would roll his eyes at me when I told him we had to work.  That smile was such a joy especially when he was able to get one over on some of the coaches. He was so precious and touched so many lives in his short stay on this earth. My prayers are that you will be comforted during this loss but also know what a joy he brought to so many.
