Ivan Ray Duncan

He was a retired carpenter.

Mr. Duncan was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years: Mary Ann Duncan; son and daughter-in-law: Randy and Jill Duncan of Greeneville; grandchildren: Randy Isaac Duncan and fiancée, Amber Gosnell, Josh Gilland, and Jesse Waddell; great-grandchildren: Teegan Duncan, the light of his papaw’s eyes; sister: Carolyn Dunbar of Afton; brother: Terry Duncan of Chuckey; brothers-in-law: Robert Dunbar and wife, Trula, Kenneth Dunbar and wife, Glenda, Warren Dunbar and wife, Frances; sister-in-law: Vinisha Haire; and several nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late Zen and Frieda Hensley Duncan and was preceded in death by his son, Danny Carl Duncan; two brothers, Ronnie and Perman Duncan; and a sister, Darlene Brown Smith.

The family will receive from 4pm- 7pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Richard Tittle officiating.

Interment will be at 10:00 am Thursday in Union Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery Thursday at 10:00 am for the committal service.

Pallbearers will be Randy Isaac Duncan, Chris Dunbar, Ricky Darnell, and Marty Darnell.
