She was retired from Magnavox and a member of Cedar Creek Church of God.
Helen is survived by a sister: Lucy Harrison; nieces and nephews: Jerry Waddell her special caregiver, Katherine Bickford, Pauline Birdwell, Learline Brown, David and Marlene Foulks, Doyle and Wanda Foulks, Diane and Charles Ricker, Gail and Johnny Tolliver, Donna and Robert Hensley, Miranda and Roger Bowman, Linda and Eddie Short, Gary Waddell, Marilyn Dearing, Diane Southerland, Betty Knipp, Ricky Waddell, Janice Helbert, Gina Ottinger, Darlene Campbell and Kenny Waddell and several great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are brothers and sisters-in-law: Buford and Mable Lamb and June and Howard Bowers; special friends: Pam Carpenter, Andy Christiansen, Crawford Holt, Edith Pierce, Margaret Collins and all her friends at Cedar Creek Church of God.
She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Nettie Collins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lamb; four sisters: Ruth (William) Phillips; Alice McDonald, Mildred Collins and Pearlie (Billy) Ottinger; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Clinton Harrison, Earl and Madge Lamb and Edward and Ollie Waddell.
The family will receive friends on Saturday 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Dwayne Pierce and Pastor Sam Chafin officiating.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday at 3 pm in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 2 pm on Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers are Doyle Foulks, Derrick Bowman, Eddie Short, B. J. Short, Keith Lamb and Jerry Waddell.
