She retired from Magnavox.
Mrs. Gray attended Calvary Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include a daughter: Connie Lamons and fiancé Ronnie Darnell; a son and daughter-in-law: Curtis and Charity Gray; grandsons: Brad Lamons and fiancé, Tiffany, and Dalton Gray and fiancé Macy Maloney; granddaughter: Darian Gray; sisters-in-law: June Smith and Gertrude Smith; and special friends: Bill Smelcer, Joe Smelcer, Arnie Smelcer, Mike Etherton, Kathy Baskette, Jennifer Baskette, and her neighbors, as well as deceased friend, Vivian Baskette.
She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Eliza Belle Smith and was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Gray; and brothers and sisters, Glen, Paul, James, Don, Lon, Guy, Sherman, and Robert Smith, Grover Allen, Irene Ward, Leona Smith, Lucille Ellis, Violet Lane, Ethel Fillers, and infant Smith.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lynn Neas officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00 am Saturday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Following the committal service, the family will meet at Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Bill Smelcer, Arnie Smelcer, Kenneth Fillers, Mark Reaves, Freddie Crum, and Johnny Mitchell.
The family wished to express a special thanks to the 3rd and 4th floor staff of Laughlin Memorial Hospital, Dr. Dharmen Patel and staff, Dr. Kelowski and staff, Dr. Mark Patterson and staff, and the staff of Caris Hospice.
