She served in many capacities throughout the years at Ashway Pentecostal Holiness Church, including pianist, Sunday School teacher, and girls/women’s ministries. She dedicated many summers to serve at the Appalachian Conference youth camps.
Donna began her life of service and compassion at age 15. She utilized her many talents as a cook, caregiver, Pharmacy Tech at Takoma Hospital, substitute teacher and North Greene’s football mom for over 10 years. Anyone who knew Donna experienced her infectious laughter and big hugs. Her greatest joy was being a stay at home mom to her boys.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, David Ray Lynch and five sons: Daniel (Ashlee) Lynch, David Dean (Candace) Lynch, Dalas (Brittany) Lynch, Daren (Meghan) Lynch and Dale (Kayla) Lynch. She is the daughter of Pastors Dean and Judy Brewster. She is also survived by her two sisters, Dixie (Doug) Wilson and Deana (Tony) Humphrey. She is daughter-in-law to Joe and Sue Lynch and survived by brothers-in-law: Dion (Kim) Lynch and Dustin (Danielle) Lynch as well as sister-in-law, Dana Lynch. She had many nieces and nephews. She was lovingly known as “Nonna” to 13 grandchildren, who were her pride and joy: Elijah, Ezekiel, Ezra, Carter, Kenna, Cami, Cole, Kaylee, Madisyn, Carson, Nolan, Grace, and River. Special friends were: Becky Malone, Jim (Nichole) Cassidy, and Tommy and Josh Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-7:00 pm on Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the service at 7:00 pm with Pastor Ron Fredericks officiating along with Joshua Johnson and Blaine Dykes.
