Charles J Morelock

He was a well-respected hard working farmer in the South Greene Community and an entrepreneur. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Most of all he loved the Lord and never faltered in his faith. He attended First Church of God for many years.

He is survived by three daughters: Terrie (Larry) Short, Mary Ann (Marshall) Brown, Tami (Wayne) Tasker; grandchildren: Shane (Anne) DeVoti, Joshua (Lori) DeVoti, Brooks (Katie) Brown, Maci (Tyler) Kelley, Claire Tasker; great grandchildren: Isabella DeVoti, Brittney (Jeremy) Southerland, Kacton DeVoti, Kambrin DeVoti, Dillon Flanary, and Kayden Kelley; his beloved dog and companion Buddy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years: Barbara Morelock; his parents: Charles and Yeteva Morelock; four sisters: Pauline Huff, Willie Renner, Juanita Bowers and Jean Renner.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 3-7 pm at First Church of God. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm. With Pastor Nathan Leisure officiating.

The graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be: Shane DeVoti, Joshua DeVoti, Brooks Brown, Tyler Kelley, Brian Presley, and Wayne Tasker.

Friends and family are asked to meet at First Church of God at 10:30 am to go in procession to the cemetery.
