Charles Alfred Hopson, 63, of Greystone Road, Greeneville, passed away Thursday, September 05, 2013, at
Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
He worked for Greene County Highway Department and was a farmer.
Mr. Hopson attended Shelton Mission Church.
He loved riding horses.
Survivors include one son: Allen Hopson; a daughter: Miranda Hopson; grandchildren: Dalton Hopson and Canaan Nye, all of Greeneville; a sister and brother-in-law: Janet and Ray Morgan of Greeneville; several aunts and uncles; a niece: Amy Utsman of Greeneville; a great niece: Allison Utsman; a great nephew: Will Utsman; special friends: Deb, Steffany and Emily.
He was the son of the late Ray and Myrtle Mercer Hopson.
A graveside service will be held at Greystone Cemetery at 2pm Tuesday, September 10, 2013, with Rev. Jerry Hopson and Rev. Jeremy Utsman officiating.
The Greene County Honor Guard and the U. S. Navy Military Honors Team will conduct a military graveside service.
