She was a member of Amity Presbyterian Church.
Carolyn was a beautician as well as a home interior saleswoman.
She is survived by her daughter and pride and joy, Keema Wells; brother, Windfield “Windy” Shipley of Greeneville; and three uncles, Bobby Fox, Buford Fox, and Boyd Fox. She is also survived by special friends Keith and Liz Rice and Steven Shelton.
She was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Frances Shipley and was preceded in death by her husband, David Wells, and her sister, Valerie Shipley Yokley.
The family will receive friends 1-3pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3pm in the Kiser-Rose Hill chapel, officiated by Rev. Kenny Collins.
Interment will follow at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
