Carolyn Sue Nelson

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fruitland Park, Florida.

With her happy heart, engaging smile, and sassy sense of humor, Carolyn Sue was truly a blessing to everyone. The sound of her laughing could always make your day.

She was full of love and was loved by all who came in contact with her. She always loved to attend church and did so as long as her health permitted and was always a witness for Jesus.

She is survived by her mother: Eva Dover Kelley of Fruitland Park, Florida; brother and sister-in-law: Earl and Dottie Nelson of Fruitland Park, Florida; aunt: Anna Belle King of Clinton, Tennessee; nieces and nephews: Earl Nelson and spouse Chandra, Brad Nelson and spouse Kristy, Reggie Graham and spouse Sharon, Rodney Graham and spouse Andi, all of Fruitland Park, Florida, Theresa Tritt and spouse Travis and Natasha Nelson of Hiram, Georgia; several great nephews and great nieces; cousins: Kenny King of Clinton, Tennessee, Carole King of Nashville, Tennessee; and her special friends: Danny and Norma Ricker, Bryan Norton, Kendra Collins, Tyler Ricker, Beth Starnes, Bladyn Norton, J.T. and Lynda Brown, Kevin and Teresa Stephens and family, all of whom she considered her Greeneville family.

The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m. Thursday preceding the service at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home in Greeneville. The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mike Mack officiating.

Following the service, all family and friends who would like to attend the graveside service, are asked to meet at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton at 3:00 p.m.

Her pallbearers are Kenny McCormick, J.T. McCormick, Kenny King, Earl Nelson, Brad Nelson, Bryan Norton, and Tyler Ricker.

Carolyn’s Heart staff of 2010, Community Network Services of Greeneville, 4 East staff and cardio-pulmonary services of Laughlin Memorial Hospital, Dr. Joe Austin, and Nurse Vickie Trentham will serve as honorary pallbearers.
