She worked at Greeneville Redrier for many, many years and retired from Laughlin Memorial Hospital after more than 20 years of service.
Mrs. Ricker was a long-time member of Loves Memorial Church.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother and was loved by all who knew her.
Survivors include two sons: Norman Ricker and wife, Shirley, and Donnie Ricker; daughter-in-law: Mildred Ricker; four grandchildren: Mickey Ricker and Tammy of Sevierville, TN, Andy Ricker and Jessica of Dandridge, TN, Marsha Parkins and Josh of Greeneville, Kathy Miller and Greg of Greeneville; great grandchildren: Taylor Jay, Neal, and Audra Jane Parkins of Greeneville, Samantha Gregg of Greeneville, Amanda Dorman and spouse, Lance, of Kentucky, Lindsey Seymour and spouse, Nathan, of Maryville, Victor Ricker of Dandridge, Ashton Ricker of Dandridge, David, Deacota and Haley Dorman of Kentucky, Jadon Sands of Maryville; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends and caregivers, including: Kathy Miller, Annette Crum and the staff at Laughlin Health Care.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel “Sam” and Nannie Clowers; a brother, Boyd S. Clowers; her husband, Jay U. Ricker; a son, David “Eddie” Ricker; and a grandson, Ricky L. Ricker.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dan Palmer officiating.
Interment will follow in Love’s Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Andy Ricker, Mickey Ricker, Josh Parkins, Greg Miller, Lance Dorman, Taylor Jay Parkins, and Neal Parkins.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Joe Austin, Roger Swatzell, J.D. Ricker, Jerry Ricker; Al Carpenter, Wayne Riddle, J.D. Bowers, Maurice “Red” Moore, and David Moore.
