Brenda Kay Ricker Bowers, 63, of Mosheim, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was a nurse for 45 years and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer and Lance Solomon; a very special granddaughter: Kaytelyn; a sister and brother-in-law: Sharon and Eddie Waddell; nephew: Brian Mullins, all of Mosheim; and aunts: Willie Walton and Josephine Ricker of Greeneville.
She was the daughter of the late James C. and Ruby K. Ricker and was preceded in death by an infant son; and her grandparents: Felix and Ella Dyer.
Ms. Bowers’s wishes were to be cremated.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at New Bethel Cemetery.
