Nancy Ann Huber

Nancy Ann Huber passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospice following an extended illness. Nancy was born in Indianapolis on June 10, 1934, the daughter of A. A. “Pete” and Ellen (Steele) Huber, and graduated from Roachdale High School in 1952. Mrs. Huber attended Hanover College, and was a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority. Nancy served as secretary to three Presidents at DePauw University until her retirement. Survivors include her companion, John R. Wharton; three nephews, Shane (Lisa) Huber, Bloomington, Peter (Jennifer) Huber, Zionsville, and Derek (Greta) Huber, Greencastle; two nieces, Shawn Benetti, Greenwood, and Lauren (husband-David Wolske) Huber; several grandnephews and grandnieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers Fred L. Huber and Gary L. Huber. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Reverend Allen Small officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
