Jean Marie Fisher-Cannon

Jean Marie Fisher-Cannon, 73, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024. Born June 14, 1951 in Franklin, IN the daughter of Harold Leroy and Barbara Jean (Mayville) Fisher. She was a graduate of Ben Davis High School “Class of 1969”, Ivy Tech, and served a five year apprenticeship with Local 440. Jean was the first female licensed master plumber in Indiana working out of Local 440. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Ladies Guild, Legion of Mary, and the Master Gardeners Club. Jean is survived by her husband John Cannon; son Scott C. (wife Lisa) Adkins; daughter Jeannette (David) Little; brother Steve (wife Candie) Fisher; grandchildren Dyson Adkins, Ashlyn Adkins, Allison Schilling, Hannah Schilling, Ryan Kehrt, and Tyler Kehrt. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Danny Fisher, and husband John Dreihs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Greencastle, IN. Interment will follow at the Stilesville Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 13th at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home.
