She was born July 9, 1945 in Greencastle and was the daughter of Mildred (Query) Paris and Manuel Rodriquez of Mexico.
She had worked at Dixie Chopper Business Center for several years. She loved having family gatherings and planning games and activities. She enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, and cooking new recipes for family dinners.
She married Tonny Cox Jr., on October 1, 1961.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, Greg (Bonnie) Cox, and Doug (Kathy), Cox; one daughter, Angie (Jeff), Haltom, all of Fillmore; two brothers, Melvin (Susie), Paris, Mooresville, and Donald (Virginia) Query, Phoenix, Arizona; three sisters, Judy (John), Callendar, Terre Haute; Pam (Tony) Butz, Bloomington; and Connie Roe, Martinsville; nine grandchildren, Brittany Church, McKenzie Shannon, Siddalee Cox, Rene Jarred, Mike (Elizabeth) Jarred, Macie Snowden, Darian Strong, and Megan and Marley Haltom; three great grandchildren, Keylan Church, Jay William Wysong, and Charlotte Jarred; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents Charles (Sarah) Query; two brothers, Cecil Ray Query, and Wayne Basham, of Phoenix, in-laws Tonny (Frances) Cox and a special friend Tess Puett.
The family will have private family services at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
