Terry Wabnitz, 78, of Gilcrest CO, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2024 in the care of Pathway's Inpatient Care Center at Fort Collins, CO.
He was born in San Rafael, Cottage Hospital, Marin County California. At the age the age of 6 the family moved to Covington, KY. Where he lived till he met his wife Carla Roberts on the computer in August of 1999. In February of 2000 Terry moved to Colorado and they lived together till they married on June 27, 2004. They were married in the Seventh Day Adventist church in Brighton CO where they attended church.
Terry was a life member of the Sons of Confederates. He joined the Colorado division in 2002. He was the Genealogist for the SCB till he fell sick in May 2023. He was on oxygen for 16 years and put up a good fight to keep going, and do what he could for the Division.
He volunteered at the Greeley History Museum doing Transcription. Terry was loved and respected by all he met along the way.
A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, June 9th, 2024 2:00 P.M. at Brighton Seventh-Day Adventist, 567 E Bromley Ln, Brighton, CO 80601.
