It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Raymond McCollum on September 16, 2023. Ray was born on October 25, 1982, in Roselle Park, New Jersey. He graduated from Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark, New Jersey in the year 2000.
Ray moved to Colorado in 2014. He lived in Milliken, Greeley, and Loveland. He most recently worked for McLane Western and prior to that he worked for Redneck Trailer Supply.
Ray was an avid sports fan. He was a die hard Dolphins fan, as well as a New York Yankees & New Jersey Devils fan.
Ray was a music lover. He had an eclectic taste in music. He loved everything from the Rat Pack to Ozzy Osbourne. His favorite year for music was 1961. His love for music extended to karaoke where he would often sing AC/DC songs and on occasion he was known to do a perfect imitation of Archie & Edith Bunker singing the 'All In The Family' theme song.
Ray leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and resilience. He was affectionately known as 'Ray Ray' and 'Bueller' but his immense presence could not be contained by any nickname.
He is survived by his mother, Arden McCollum and his daughters Kara & Chloe, as well as many other family members.
Ray touched many lives, and brought joy to all of them with his warm personality and huge heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and forever remembered.
