Nancy Lewis (Griego) was born on July 10th 1949 in Platteville, Colorado. She attended school in Gilcrest and graduated from Greeley Central High School. She received her Bachelor Degree from the University of Northern Colorado and worked in human services and administrative roles for most of her life until she retired.
She was a nurturing homemaker who loved to sew, bake, garden, and sing. She also enjoyed the mountains and fishing. If she could help, she would, anyone who knew her remembers her selfless love and attention to others’ needs. She was the pillar of her family and will forever be loved and missed.
She is survived by her caring husband Bobbie F. Lewis of 42 years, Son Steve Pacheco, Daughters Selani (Tim) Flores, Renee (Ricky) Salazar, Granddaughters Jayde Pacheco, Ryder Duran, Grandsons Damon Tyson, Gabriel Flores, Logan Flores, Ricky Salazar, Josiah Salazar, Great-Granddaughter Mia Paige, Great-Grandson Merrick Paige, Brothers Paul Griego, Jerry (Mary) Griego, Sister Jenny Martinez, many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Selani Griego (Roybal), Father Alfonso Griego, Brothers Joe Griego, John Griego, Fermin Griego, Ben Griego, Richard Griego, Sisters Ramon Detar, Helen Korgan, and Wilma Carrillo.
A visitation for Nancy will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th St., Greeley, CO 80634. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 at 10:30 A.M., also held at Stoddard Funeral Home. An interment will immediately follow the funeral service at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A reception will be at Riverside Cultural Center at 1:00 P.M. at 3700 Golden St., Evans, CO.
