Margie Esther Huff

Margie was raised in La Salle, attending La Salle High School. In December 1960, she married Richard “Dick” Huff. Together they had three children, Donald, Deneanne and Doug. They divorced in 1970.

Margie was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pierce, a member of the Pierce Moose Lodge in the 1970s and 1980s and grew up as a Rainbow Girl. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren whether it be at a bowling alley, dance competition, volleyball, baseball or football game. She also enjoyed camping with her family and fishing as well as spending time at family gatherings.

Margie worked at North Colorado Medical Center from 1985-2006 in Sterile Processing.

Margie is survived by her daughter, Deneanne Johnson (John) of Greeley; son, Donald E. Huff of Greeley; sister, Linda Leach (Don) of Cheyenne, Wyoming; brother, Mark Jenkins (Karen) of Gilcrest, Colorado; brother-in-law, Dalton Dees of Del Norte, Colorado; six grandchildren, Dawn, Shawn and Lisa Huff of Colorado Springs, Sarah Schmidt Johnson (Leslie) of Ault, Colorado, Kenneth Johnson (Suzanne) of Port Deposit, Maryland and Lindsey Mowrey (Jared) of Lander, Wyoming; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and her great friend, Kay Land of Gilcrest.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Douglas Scott Huff and sister, Shirley Dees.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 28th Street, Greeley.
