Harold Robert Craven, 64, of rural La Salle, CO, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at his home. He was born May 13, 1956, in Greeley, Colorado to Harold Richard and Katherine JoAnn (Conlin) Craven. He married Lisa Regenbrecht on December 28, 1990 in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Harold graduated from Valley High School in Gilcrest, Colorado in 1975. He played on the State Championship baseball team of 1974 and second place team in 1975. He farmed the family Centennial Farm (established in 1876) and his personal farm property. During the off-season he enjoyed woodworking, restoration of classic cars and farm vehicles. He was an avid ultralight and sport pilot. He looked forward to the annual Pumpkin Drop on his private airstrip with the ultralight club that he and Lisa had belonged to. He always looked forward to his annual trip to Belize with Lisa.
He is survived by his wife Lisa Craven and her children Nathan (Meggan) Bilotte of Windsor and Stacy (Mike) Franks of Greeley; his faithful dog, Charlie; brother Richard (Shan) Craven of Greeley; sister Joanna (Terry) Craven Martinson of La Salle; grandchildren Oliver Bilotte, Opal Bilotte, Teagan Franks, Talia Franks; nieces and nephews Rory (Amanda) Craven, Riley Craven (Abigail) and her son Kaiden, Shea (Darian) Baker, sons Jaden and Daxton, Sayrd Martinson, Dryas Martinson, and Sage Martinson. Harold was a special uncle and was known as Uncle Monkey by his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ambrose and Josephine (Bollig) Conlin; John and Florence (Rudd) Craven and several Aunts and Uncles. His faithful companions Rufus and Bo.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 1-5pm, at Allnutt Funeral Service, Macy Chapel. A family graveside service will be held at Mizpah Cemetery on February 10, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
