Bill was born to George Day Sr., and Ada Day on August 22, 1935 in Michigan. He married the love of his life Eileen Balfour on December 17, 1955 and to that union they had 3 children, Desiree, George "Bill" III and Tracy.
Bill served in the United States Navy. After leaving the Navy, Bill dedicated his life to the manufactured housing industry, from managing plants to owning his own businesses, he did it all. He was inducted into the National Manufactured Housing Hall of Fame in 2003. And was also a member of the Colorado Manufactured Housing Hall of Fame. He served as president of the Wyoming Manufactured Housing Alliance and the Eaton Country Club. During his retirement, he enjoyed playing golf, bowling, hunting and fishing with his family.
Bill is survived by his 3 children, Desiree (Curt) of Omaha, NE, Bill (Lori) of Cheyenne, WY and Tracy (Vicki) of York, NE, and 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 4 sisters, Arlene, Alma, Shirley and Debbie.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eileen, his parents, two brothers, Eddy and Les and one sister, Marie.
Due to recent events, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
