Betsy Ann Taylor, born March 3, 1965, to Tino Munoz and Essie Carlile. Born in Vallejo, CA and raised there by mother, Essie Carlile and step-father, Billy Work.
Betsy suffered many years from Huntington’s Disease - a debilitating hereditary disease that took her life prematurely on September 30, 2022.
Betsy is survived by her husband, Timothy Taylor; two sons - Joseph Costa and Travis Costa (Ty Costa); two daughters - Renae F. Costa and Melody Costa; sisters - Candy Wheeler, Deanna Hunt, and Vicki Carlile; brothers - Eric Work and Steven Munoz; grandchildren - Kaleb Costa, Bayleigh Costa, and Kaitlyne Costa; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in law and sisters-in-law; and by Tim Taylor’s five children and their spouses, 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Betsy is preceded in death by: mother, Essie Jane Carlile; father, Tino Munoz; stepfather, Billy Work; and brother, Jeff Work.
Betsy attended junior high and high school in Vacaville, CA. Betsy married Ray Costa in Silver Springs, NV on April 10, 1982 and started a family; they later divorced. Betsy studied the Bible and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Reno, NV at a Circuit Assembly of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the Spring of 1990. Betsy married Timothy Taylor in Dixon, CA on June 24, 2000. They were living in Ault, CO upon her death. Betsy was a member of the Ault Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Ault, CO. Betsy had several secular jobs including Cyprus in Tonopah, NV; a CNA in Dixon, CA; Peterson Roofing in Dixon, CA; and Taylor and Sons, Greeley, CO. Among the things Betsy loved was being a grandma, flowers, gardening, running, bike riding, and physical fitness.
Betsy will be greatly missed by her family and friends as she awaits the Bible’s hope of a resurrection to a beautiful paradise earth free of all diseases.
