Barbara graduated from Seward High School in Seward, Nebraska and at the age of 18 she married Robert Hayek. The couple had 3 beautiful children, Scott, David and Tracy. The family relocated to Denver, Colorado. They later divorced.
In 1974, Barbara met and married Ken McCaskey and then relocated to Casper Wyoming, and eventually settled in Greeley, Colorado. The couple had 43 wonderful years together including numerous cruises until his passing in 2017.
Barbara loved county music, and all different genres of music even Frank Sinatra. Barbara and Ken square danced and she made their outfits. She could crochet, knit and even won a Blue Ribbon at the Weld County Fair for her hand quilting skills. Mostly she loved being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Scott Hayek, and daughter, Tracy (Hayek) Parker, grandchildren, Paige Parker, Taylor (Parker) Sidney and Joshua Sidney, and great grandson, Parker Sidney.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ken, son, David Hayek, and brother, Gerald Andersen.
